No, not at all.
Both the Swedes and the Danes are to be blamed.
There are the extremes in both cases.
On the low end of the scale for the Danes, we have an old person, in an old car, spewing out unburned diesel fuel when it tries to reach 40.
On the other end we have the taxi drivers; also spewing out diesel fuel, but they reach much higher speeds. They are excellent at seeing that little space between two cars that they can use to wedge themselves in between.
For Swedes; we basically have the tourists and those who work in Copenhagen. I've been part of both camps; so I can reliably describe both. :)
Tourists don't know the way, find the lack of street signs extremely confusing. Sudden twists and turns confuse them. They drive slowly, and often need to do U-turns.
The workers have a calculated way through Copenhagen. They know the timing of most signals just so they can get to the next green light before it turns to yellow.
Anyway, all in all, I think the traffic pace in Copenhagen is MUCH better than in Malmo which has only 1/5 (?) of the population.
